Townies in TS2

I deleted "Bruce GilsCarbo" because townies in TS2 sub-neighborhoods have random names, which means that a townie by that name will not always appear in games that have Open for Business. Also, no townies have any family relationships whatsoever. Two or more townies will often have the same surname, but that's because the game has a fairly limited pool of surnames and first names to draw from. It doesn't imply any sort of relationship. You, as a player, can certainly imagine them to be related, but please don't claim that it's what Maxis may have intended. Dharden (talk) 15:06, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Sock

I'm not sure about that. For one thing, the edits to Pregnancy by WhatZitToYa and 70.26.83.118 don't appear to be written in the same style. For another, 70.26.83.118 only has one edit, so even if WhatZitToYa and 70.26.83.118 are the same person, it could just be a case of a user making an edit without noticing they weren't logged in. Hmm, it seemed to me that they were both trying to spread some sort of player tip. I just wanted a second opinion on the sock but as you said above about WhatZitToYa not noticing that s/he is not logged in, I think that that could be excused (as the user didn't really abuse privaliges). Use of warnings

Hi. I can see by your sandbox page that you've been experimenting with the {{Warning}} template. However, you should be aware that only administrators are allowed to use that template on other user's talk pages. If you should ever run into a user who needs a warning; for spam, bad behavior, or something similar, you can still warn them by writing a message on their page. Something like "Your edits appear to be unconstructive. If you continue to make unconstructive edits, I will notify an administrator." would be good for a basic warning. If a user continues to vandalize or act badly, don't retaliate or threaten them; instead, contact one or more administrators immediately so they can take action against them. When warning users for anything, remember to be clear and to assume good faith.

The Sims 2 Castaway

Hello. I'm Random Ranaun. I'm trying to add more information about The Sims 2 Castaway games, since they have many new items, objects, and features that aren't in any other Sims games. I've seen that you wrote a comment on Talk:The Sims 2 Castaway and I just want to know if you have The Sims 2 Castaway for PS2. Remember that you have to measure up your fingers to know if you have a male or female brain, it is not something that you know just by looking to the hand remember that the index finger is often in a higher position in the hand than the ring finger, that is why you think you have a female brain, lol, ok so remember measure your fingers, if the index is longer or equal to the ring finger-female brain, ring finger longer-male brain.
