Hi, and welcome to The Sims Wiki, SimAddict! Thanks for your edit to the User:SimAddict page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything about the wiki! (If you have questions about the game, please ask them in our Questions forum.) -- Random Ranaun (Talk) 12:19, November 3, 2010

Re:Help guide me through the Wikia[edit source]

I will help and I hope I'm good enough to make that. To add user boxes to your user page you have to visit this to know the codes of each template, see also this, for example if you want to add your favorite color user box just place at your user page: {{User "name of the color") you have to visit this to know the codes. Do add tittles like about me you just have to click above of everything when you are editing in a arrow that is placed at left where it says "appearance of the text" you have many other functions like topics adding images. I hope this helped. ---Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 08:01, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

How To add a page: when you are visting an article you will see under the researching box something saying "6435" articles on this Wiki and at right of this you have something called "Create a page" you can create it with this. Hope this helped. ---Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 08:09, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ok I will try to explain SIMPE is a program where you can edit your game sims and neighborhoods from Sims 2, you can edit memories, relationships and much more with some tools if you are interested in and if you make the download I can explain with details. Bye. ---Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 18:27, November 16, 2010 (UTC)

Badges[edit source]

Sorry Sim, the community decided to remove them. How are you? BobNewbie talkblog 14:53, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

The badges were only here because Wikia was doing the sponsored platinum-badge promotion for Late Night, and that required enabling them. The community voted to have them disabled when the promotion ended, and Wikia did so.
You haven't lost anything you earned while badges were enabled, they're just hidden. In the (IMO unlikely) event that we ever decide to bring them back, they'll still be there. Dharden (talk) 16:43, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
If that's the case, then what can we do? SimAddict 05:43, December 12, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Mixology[edit source]

Hi there, Did you mean that you wanted to remove the names from the article or from the game? Seeing as my PC is too slow to run The Sims 3, I will admit that I am the worst person to ask in relation to removing from the game. Thanks in advance for clearing that up for me. Regards, GG (t)(c)(b) 12:45, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

You can remove names from the article by going into edit mode and by just taking out what needs to be removed. GG (t)(c)(b) 19:30, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
Have you tried removing the blank boxes as well? GG (t)(c)(b) 22:18, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Locking your page[edit source]

Hey. I see in your news that you're worried about vandalism to your page. Unfortunately, it's impossible to completely eliminate the chance that someone could come on and vandalize your page, but rest assured that if that should ever happen, every change they make is 100% reversible. As a rule, administrators will not lock user pages on the wiki unless there is a strong history of vandalism, then only for a short period. Since you're not an administrator, you do not have the power to lock or unlock pages (even your own userpage) or edit locked pages, so if an administrator fully locks your page, you won't be able to edit it.

Page vandalism happens, and it's a natural part of the wiki environment. Please keep in mind, however, that vandals are not nearly as common as positive contributors, and the harm vandals cause is reversible. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 08:09, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

On another note, noticing the message you've left on Duskey's talk page; you seem to already have an avatar. Also, The Sims Wiki:IRC Channel is a live chat channel used mainly by members of The Sims Wiki. In order to access and post on the channel, you need to have a 'nick' registered with Freenode (the service provider for the channel) and must identify with your nick and password before joining.
Also, although the page for the IRC channel mentions Duskey as the contact, Duskey has unforunately been absent from the wiki for several months, so he is unlikely to respond to messages left on his talk page. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 08:22, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Tutorial[edit source]

I think I'm not a very good help about tutorials, you could ask to User:LostInRiverview instead :)! Thank you. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 11:30, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Fanon[edit source]

Hi. Well, making fanon pages are pretty easy. To add the Sims mugshot, download SimPE and you can find it there. For the infoboxes, use either {{Sim1}}, {{Sim2}}, or {{Sim3}}, depending on which game they appear in. Hope I helped! :) —Random Ranaun (Talk to me!) 17:05, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

Blogs[edit source]

Hi there, could you please refrain from making blogs like this in the future as it is just plain nonsense and a misuse of the blogging feature. Thanks! Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 17:14, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

Hey dude. Sorry I can't talk long. Anyway, go here and read how to do it. Feel free to ask any questions! --BobNewbie talkblog 13:18, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
