Welcome

Hi, and welcome to The Sims Wiki, TheSims23! Thanks for your edit to the The Sims Wiki:Battles page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything about the wiki! (If you have questions about the game, please ask them in our Questions forum.) -- A morris (Talk) 20:20, 13 March 2011

RE: Sorry

Apology accepted and I'm happy that you have realised what you did wrong. :)

As for your question, anybody can vote in the battles, even with an IP (as long as they're not doing it to vote multiple times for one thing). We do imply the AGF rule for most situations and even though you did change the battle in good faith with your IP, you had ignored warnings and used your account for the same thing - hence your block.

Like I said, we can all move on from this and I'm glad you regret your mistakes. If you need any help with anything, feel free to drop me a message. Regards, Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 16:58, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

The Sims 3 Glitches

The Sims 3 and its expansions are pretty complex games, so glitches are unfortunately somewhat common. EA does do a very good job of quickly fixing these problems in downloadable patches (in typical fashion, these glitch-fixes are often riddled with glitches which make them hard to install) but it can be annoying. Another thing to consider is the heavy resource usage by The Sims 3; make sure your computer, specifically your graphics card, can handle it. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 16:18, April 3, 2011 (UTC)

If I may add to what Lost said; basically, one of the worst parts of The Sims 3 is the glitches. These are mostly minor ones but some of them can be down right irritating and time-consuming to fix. I would still buy The Sims 3 if I knew about the glitches, but advise you to go through the system requirements with great attention. Hope I gave some more help. --BobNewbie talkblog 18:41, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
No problem. To tell you the truth, I nearly cried when The Sims 3 didn't work on my computer the first time. :p Not kidding. Anyway, hoping for the best! --BobNewbie talkblog 18:56, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Thank you, but I prefer O Positive! (Talk) This Plasma Pack tastes fool!18:59, April 3, 2011 (UTC)
Basically, I have to agree that TS3 is the game with the most bugs in the series. I personally install mods to fix them, and most importantly, I always backup my game. A mistake can be proved to be ruinous for your game. Also, I once played The Sims 3 with an NVidia GeForce 4200 and it was like playing a buggy version of The Sims 1. If your computer simply is too slow, playing is not worthy.
