She shares a good [[relationship]] with her husband, but she and her daughter Holly barely know each other. She is friends with [[Gunther Goth|Gunther]] and [[Cornelia Goth]] and old enemies with [[Geoffrey Landgraab|Geoffrey]] and [[Nancy Landgraab]]. This is probably due to their economic status; since the Landgraabs are old money and the Altos are new money, that could have caused their feud. She is an acquaintance of [[Mortimer Goth]] and [[Malcolm Landgraab (The Sims 3)|Malcolm Landgraab]].

As a local representative in the political career, she is very charismatic, but what most other neighborhood Sims are unaware of is that she is also evil. She seems to be something of an egotistical and manipulative megalomaniac who uses everyone she meets so that she can climb even further up the social and political ladders.
Vita begins the game 16 days away from becoming an elder. She starts as the Local Representative in the Political Career track.
