Art galleries are highly profitable, because people will pay exorbitant prices for glamour and style. Realizing this, Steve von Dough invested his life savings in an oddly shaped building (odd equating to profit in the art world) and searched the world for the best paintings.

Von Dough Gallery is an unowned community lot in Bluewater Village, the neighborhood that shipped with The Sims 2: Open for Business.

Its name may be a reference to Vincent van Gogh.
