Woodworking tables are a type of a workbench that allows Sims to create Gnomes and Wooden items. It appears in The Sims: Livin' Large, The Sims: Makin' Magic and The Sims 4.

The Sims 3: Ambitions introduces the Pedestrian Sculpting Station for sculpting.

}}The KraftMatic Woodworking Table is very useful, as it raises a Sim's Mechanical skill when using it, and it can make gnomes that can later be sold. Of course, the higher a Sim's Mechanical skill is, the better the gnomes will be, and the higher the price they will sell for. At first, gnomes might only sell for §1, but as more are made, and as the Sim's Mechanical skill improves, they will increase in price, the maximum being §100. Sims can kick a gnome when they are in a bad mood... but they can sometimes explode, knocking the Sim off his or her feet.

A gnome can be made every 25 minutes, not counting the time required to put the gnome down and walk back to the workbench to start work on a new one (which brings the time per gnome closer to 30 minutes). At §100 per gnome, this pays more than any of the game's 20 career tracks, with much more flexible hours, no need to make friends, no possibility of getting fired, and no need for any job skills other than Mechanical. In short, it makes career tracks utterly obsolete.

Sims with the handiness skill can make wooden sculptures and furniture, either for use or for sale.

With Outdoor Retreat, Sims can craft more objects like planter boxes, mirrors, wall shelfs or wall hangings. Sims can learn about the woodworking schematic from the large wooden camping mascot sculpture located in Granite Falls and afterwards they can make smaller versions of it at the woodworking table.

Item quality
All crafted items will have various levels of quality, ranging from poor, normal and excellent. Poor quality furniture will have jagged looks and make their users uncomfortable. Excellent items sell for much higher prices and have better stats on comfort and environment. Being focused will help immensely with woodworking, increasing the chances of crafting items of excellent quality.
