Not to be confused with Adventurous or Adventurous (The Sims Medieval).

Adventurous is a pet trait featured in The Sims 3: Pets and The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs.

The Sims 3: Pets

The Adventurous trait is available for both dogs and cats, and conflicts with the Skittish trait.

Adventurous Pets are very curious and love to explore.

Attributes

  • Pets will be very curious about the world.
  • Pets will rarely hide under furniture, though they will gain fun from exploring under it.

The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs

The Adventurous trait can only be given to dogs, though there is a similar cat trait called Free Spirit. It has no conflicts.

These dogs will sometimes leave the house to go on solo adventures, but are also happy to go on an adventure with their owner.
