Alice Grantham is a pre-made Sim from Sunlit Tides. She lives with her husband Gavin and their two daughters, Sophie and Katherine.
In the family's biography, her husband Gavin is said to be wanting and planning for a baby boy for long, but instead got a girl, followed by another. Gavin really wanted a boy, and he brought his family on the atoll to convince Alice to try having a boy. It is also implied that a surprise is is reserved for them all, which could hint to another child. In fact, Alice just got pregnant before the game starts.
Alice is unemployed at the start of the game. She is good friends with both her children, and does not know anybody outside her family circle.
