Other appearances

Ava's sprite character first made her appearance in the handheld version of The Urbz: Sims in the City. She serves as a cashier for Phoebe Twiddle's shop. However, unlike her appearance in The Sims 2, she has short purple hair, and is wearing a white tank top instead of a black coat. It was not until the DS version of The Sims 2 that she became a Sim character that the player can interact with.

Etymology

Ava Cadavra is possibly based on the Aramaic עַבְדָא כְּדַברָא, avda kedavra, meaning "what was said has been done." This phrase is also the origin of abracadabra.
