Bartender is a type of NPC in The Sims 2. There are two types of NPC bartenders. One type appears when a bar is placed on an unowned community lot. The other type is a service NPC that can be hired by using the Services menu on a telephone, if a bar is present.

Sims can form relationships with both types of bartender, and can ask them to move in -- or even marry them. If that happens, he/she will be replaced.
