Beatrice Monty is the daughter of Antonio Monty and his late wife Hero Monty and the elder twin sister of Benedick Monty. When you first start the game, she and her family can be found in the Veronaville family bin. Beatrice is friends with Bottom Summerdream, though the friendship isn't mutual. Her cousins are Mercutio and Romeo Monty. Her biography states that she is the sassier twin. When the family is first played, Beatrice is four days away from becoming a teenager.

According to her Sim DNA in SimPE, Beatrice has the recessive allele for brown hair. Also when editing in SimPE, her zodiac sign is not recognized. This could explain why she doesn't have a zodiac sign mismatch in-game like most pre-made playable Sims from the base game do. Beatrice also has a hidden Family aspiration token, which hints at the aspiration EA wanted for her.

Beatrice is a central character in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. In the play, she falls in love with the character Benedick (in the play, Benedick isn't Beatrice's brother).
