Isabella Monty (née Pantalone) is a pre-made elder Sim living in the Veronaville neighborhood of The Sims 2. She re-appears in The Sims 2 for console, and in Monte Vista from The Sims 3 Store.

Biography

Life leading up to The Sims 3

Isabella appears in The Sims 3 Store downloadable neighborhood, Monte Vista. She lives with her husband and first two children - her third is yet to be born. While using a normal lifespan, Isabella is 2 days from becoming an elder, quite a bit older that Patrizio. While she is an Aries in The Sims 2, she is a Scorpio in The Sims 3.

Life leading up to The Sims 2

She is the daughter of the deceased Vincentio and Francisca Pantalone, wife of Patrizio Monty; also the grandmother and guardian of the two orphaned teenage brothers Mercutio and Romeo Monty along with twins Beatrice and Benedick Monty, and the mother of Bianca, Antonio and the late Claudio Monty.

She's enemies with the Capp Family. Unusually, her memories state she met (and fell in love with) Patrizio as teenagers, whereas Patrizio's say they met and fell in love as adults. This could be explained if they dated when Patrizio was an adult and Isabella was a teenager, which can happen in real life. In the Sims however, this is not possible.

Oddly Isabella has no memories of the birth of their children and even their growing up, the first memory she has of her children is "Claudio Monty got engaged" and she does not have any memory of Bianca, this was probably a mistake made by the developers. According to her SimDNA in SimPE, Isabella's hair was blonde before it turned grey, which indicates that her hair was dyed brown in The Sims 3.

In at least some game versions, her character file does not contain data on how long she spent in previous life stages, and her age bar will say that she is 1 day old. This means that she has so far spent 1 day as an elder. Isabella starts off on her 2nd day as an elder and is 10 days away from dying of old age. The pension she receives is more than the usual amount for a retired Celebrity Chef.

Even though Isabella had reached level 6 of the Culinary career, before she retired, she doesn't have the corresponding career reward available for her to purchase. Consort Capp, Patrizio and Antonio Monty also have this quirk.

Strangely, if Isabella's appearance is extracted with SimPE to Body Shop, she will be fat instead of thin. This is also the case of Gunnar Roque and Florence Delarosa.

Life leading up to The Sims 2 (console)

On the console version, Isabella portrays a slightly different story. Here, she is living with her husband, Patrizio at Cliffside Retreat, with the butler, Don Treadwell. Her roommate is the player's Sim. She is also good friends with Don Treadwell. Her aspiration is creativity and some of her main goals are to improve Cliffside Retreat and to become more creatively talented. She has 7 cooking skill points, along with 4 creativity skill points. Even though Isabella appears to be thin, in Debug Mode CAS her body type is 1, which means she is supposed to be fat.

She has a positive +25 relationship with Patrizio, and a +20 relationship with Don. She's friends with Noel Howard. Oddly, in the console, Isabella is not married to Patrizio. They appear to be just acquaintances, with no other relationships. Despite this, Patrizio and her share a "love memory" with each other, which is normally obtained after doing a few romantic interactions.

Completing the player's and Isabella's Gold Wants will unlock the location HMS Amore.
