Betty (presumably short for Elizabeth) Newbie of The Sims 1 was an add-on to the Newbie family about halfway through the tutorial. She is characterized by her short with curl on the front, a purple shirt with green capris and her wide body. Although she and Bob did not get along very well by the time we get to The Sims 2 we find out that she and Bob got married and had a child—Brandi—and are both dead.
