Vadim Simovitch is a pre-made deceased Sim in The Sims 2, and a playable Sim in The Sims 3. He is married to Fatima Simovitch. Their daughter, Betty Simovitch, is introduced as Betty Newbie in the tutorial of The Sims. Vadim and his wife do not appear in The Sims, although they may have been alive or recently deceased at the time.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Life leading up to The Sims 3[edit | edit source]

In The Sims 3, Vadim is an adult and lives with his wife Fatima Simovitch and their daughter Betty Newbie in Riverview. He works as a Fertilizer Analyst in the Science lab.

He doesn't understand why his wife is trying to turn her daughter into a star, instead choosing to focus on watching television, as his bio states. At the start of the game, Vadim is 14 days from becoming an elder.

While Vadim has blond hair genetics in The Sims 2, he has black hair in The Sims 3. He could be of Slavic descent because of his name.

Life leading up to The Sims 2[edit | edit source]

In The Sims 2, Vadim is long deceased. His granddaughter, Brandi Broke, has been widowed and has been left with two sons, with a third on the way. Vadim can be seen in her family tree. At the time of his death, Vadim appears to have lost all of his hair, which had gone grey at some point in time.

Ironically, despite his aspiration, Vadim has a low interest in money. According to his SimDNA in SimPE, he had blond hair before it turned grey. Vadim had 22 days left in his life when he died. Even though he's a couch potato in The Sims 3, he is active in The Sims 2.
