Beverly Castor is the matriarch of the Castor Family, living in Twinbrook in The Sims 3: Ambitions. At the start of the game, she is unemployed and does not have any skills, but has a lifetime wish to become a Chess Legend. She is friends with her younger son Thomas, but enemies with her older son Jeffrey. She is married to Robert Castor, who (according to the family bio) she met through a dating web site. Beverly's hairstyle, like Eva Drudge's, is only available by using the makeover station or cheats.

The Castor family are a typical 1950's suburban family who believe in good morals and traditional values. They even live in a 1950's Cape Cod house.

Although she does not have the Bookworm trait, her bio states that she would like some book club time. The book club may be something she joined to fill her free time, so this could mean that she wishes she had more free time.
