Adult sims created in CAS can randomly have graduated from one of the boarding schools, checking the employment history in the career tab tells you which school they graduated from. They won't have skills from the school but they will be able to do special interactions they would have gained there such as throwing up a peace sign if they had graduated from the school of peace and love.

Boarding School is a feature added in The Sims 3: Generations, which makes available options to send kids and teens to Boarding School. There are 5 types of Boarding Schools available to attend.

Children in boarding schools may call home to catch up with their parents and family. Also, if the parents miss the child too much, they may bring them home.

  • Fort Starch Military School Cost- 800 simoleons
  • School of Peace and Love Cost- 800 simoleons
  • Dribbledine Sports Academy Cost- 1,200 simoleons
  • LeFromage Art School Cost- 1,200 simoleons
  • Smuggleworth Prep School Cost- 1,600 simoleons

Each boarding school has it's own special perks with traits and skills taught to the children and teens attending.

Fort Starch Military School

Fort Starch offers the athletic, martial arts, and handiness skills along with the Neat and disciplined traits. It offers the child a headstart in the military and Law Enforcement careers.

Boarding school graduation robes (L-R) : Smuggsworth Prep School, LeFromage Art School, School of Peace and Love, Dribbledine Sports Academy, and Fort Starch Military School.

School of Peace and Love

This school offers the vegetarian and eco-friendly traits and the fishing skill. It offers children a headstart in the science and culinary careers.

Dribbledine Sports Academy

Dribbledine offers the Adventurous trait and the foosball, trampoline, martial arts, and athletic skills. It offers a headstart in the professional sports career.

LeFromage Art School

LeFromage offers the Dramatic trait and the skills of bass and charisma. The child receives a headstart in the music and film careers. With World Adventures installed, the child could come home with a camera in their inventory and an improved Photography skill.[confirmation needed]

Smuggsworth Prep School

Smuggsworth offers the Charismatic trait and the logic and writing skills. It gives the child a headstart in the business, political, medical, and journalism careers.
