Bob Newbie was one of the Pre-Made Sims in The Sims, he and his wife Betty Newbie had just moved into the neighborhood at the start of the game. They are inhabitants of 'Neighborhood 1' and make up the welcome wagon. He is characterized by dingy, greasy clothing and a bald head. Although his and Betty's relationship is not very good, by the time of The Sims 2, Bob and Betty have both passed away, but left a grown daughter to raise her family.

Bob's daughter Brandi Broke is the mother to two sons, Dustin Broke and Beau Broke, and is pregnant with her third son at the start of Sims 2. She is the widow of Skip Broke.

My story on Bob Newbie Jr. is that both his parents are deceased and he has so callously stored their urns in his house rather than burying them in the Goth's Cemetary.

His wife Betty left him and had a love affair with her lawyer and when Betty had 7 children, she left the lawyer, naming the first Born Bob Newbie. (now the kids are all 10 years old and they moved back into the same neighborhood with their mom and had discovered that Bob wanted NOTHING to do with the children anymore.) Bob went on to quote that "My wife was a fool for leaving me (and she dressed the part too)" Betty Newbie unfortunately died in a house fire conducted by 8 cult members, the cult members were trying to tell her to leave cause they didn't want her involved in their rituals, she stubbornly stuck around and payed the price of life. As a result of her death, her 7 children slacked off to the point that they were ALL shipped off to Military School, then the house (which was right across from Bob Newbie was sold to another family.) Because learning of his ex-wife's death, Bob Newbie slipped into a sleep-induced coma and woke up 2 years later. Then Bob Newbie heard about Betty Boop and her 7 kids moving into the neighborhood and is trying to cort her, however since theres a limit of 8 ppl to a household and they are 1 over, Bob is stuck with a hard choice, kill one of Betty's kids or ship them ALL off to military School.

Bob Newbie's daughter Brandi Broke drowned in her boyfriend's pool so her urn is with THAT family.
