The '''Briggs family''' is a pre-made family from [[Mesa Flats]], one of the [[neighborhood]]s shipped with ''[[The Sims Pet Stories]]''. The family consists of [[James Briggs]] and his wife [[Kadisha Briggs]]. James and Kadisha were the best of friends long before they became a couple. Their romance and subsequent [[marriage]] is one of the Mesa Flats' best-known success stories. James works in the Vice Squad of the police force in the [[Law Enforcement]] [[career]] track. He wanted to be a police officer ever since he can remember. Mesa Flats may not be the most glamorous place to keep the peace, but James is reasonably sure he'll be able to keep coming home to Kadisha. Kadisha approaches everything she does with a laid-back and easygoing attitude. Although she may seem carefree, she's very dependable.
James makes numerous appereances in the [[Midnight Masquerade
The Briggs family lives in [[List of Mesa Flats lots#56 Newland Avenue|56 Newland Avenue]] and becomes playable from there after the story is finished.
