Callbox

Callboxes are found in the lobbies of all penthouses in The Sims 3: Late Night. Visitors to the lot will stop by the callbox and buzz the household living there, asking for permission to enter. The residents of the household may choose to accept the visitor, greet them in person, or simply ignore the request.
