Chef Soupy is one of three NPC Chefs introduced in The Sims: Hot Date. He automatically appears when either the Bel-Air Series Podium or the Gastronomer Restaurant Podium is present with a counter, stove, microwave, or toaster oven on a community lot. When not cooking, he will stand around the cooking appliances and cross his arms in fits of grumpiness.
He is identical in appearance to Chef Basil and Chef Stu, although Chef Soupy has medium skin. He also bears a resemblance to Bob Newbie. He wears a togue and his head is clean-shaven with a long brown beard. He wears a long-sleeved double-breasted chef's jacket with a red bandana around his neck along with gray slacks and black shoes.
