This was never the case for compilations for ''[[The Sims]]'' or ''[[The Sims 2]]'', which were issued in seperate packages for the seperate platforms and never suffered this issue.

The compilation pack is based around exploring the seas and running a resort to the fullest extent. There is one new career with Island Paradise and many others with the base game.
