The Madame Blahbatfry Crystal Ball is an item introduced in Livin' Large. It lets a Sim look into the future and allows the player a chance at changing the Sim's personality. If the player can figure out the message and direct the Sim to accomplish the task in the next 24 hours, the Sim will gain a point on that particular personality scale. If the task fails, though, the Sim will lose one point.
