Dmitri Melkin is a pre-made deceased Sim from Belladonna Cove. He is the husband of Shannon Melkin, the father of Leandra Rutherford, and the grandfather of Marissa Cleveland and Geoff Rutherford. Not much is known about him since he is deceased before the start of The Sims 2.

Dmitri is the Russian form of Demetrius, derived from Demeter, the name of the ancient Greek goddess of agriculture.
