Earl E. DeMise is a Sim who died many years before the beginning of The Sims 2 in Strangetown. His death has left behind many unanswered questions.
Olive Specter: Lover, Fiancée, Murderer?
In Olive Specter's memories, you see that she was engaged to Earl, but he left her at the altar and then died (suspiciously) soon after. Some players of The Sims 2 suggest that perhaps Earl made a fatal mistake when he decided to leave Olive. Some players believe that perhaps Olive murdered Earl, as well as with her next three husbands, Hugh Thanasia, Rigger Mortis, and Ichabod Specter, who died without having left her at the altar however. This theory has not yet been entirely proved, but it's certainly a strong possibility.
Earl E. DeMise Meets His Demise
Earl died young, and his cause of death has not yet been truly determined. Earl's grave can be found in the cemetery on Olive's lot in Strangetown.
