Emit Relevart is a pre-made future Sim living in Oasis Landing, from The Sims 3: Into the Future. He serves as a guide to the player as they explore the world of Oasis Landing, and lends his house for them to use. He cannot be married, nor can any romantic interactions be performed on him.

Emit Relevart's name is "Time Traveler" spelled in reverse. In the Swedish language version of the game, he is named Reser Nediti, which is the reverse of Reser Itiden, which translates to "traveling in time".

Emit's first name may be an oblique reference to Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown from the Back to the Future franchise. Both share similar occupations and similar appearances. If "Emit" is pronounced "em-it" instead of the normal "e-mit", it can be made to sound somewhat like "Emmett". The bow tie he wears may be a reference to the Eleventh Doctor from the British sci-fi show Doctor Who.

Like all pre-made Sims from Oasis Landing, Emit has the Future Sim hidden trait. He has also mastered his Advanced Technology skill. He has a randomized lifetime wish and favorites. He has no family members, so his early life is unknown. He also has no career.

Emit's glasses, outfit, and hairstyle are hidden in the game and are not accessible without the use of cheats. If the player tries to change his hairstyle and eyebrows in Create a Sim, they will change to a random hair color, losing their original blue coloration. The same thing will happen to any copies of him that are saved when editing his appearance in Create a Sim.
