Ephram Earl is a Sim from The Sims: Bustin' Out and The Urbz: Sims in the City, a former soldier who fought (and most likely died) in the War of 1812.

The Sims: Bustin' Out

Ephram is an old ghost that lives in the Haunted Shack who was driven to near madness by almost two centuries of lonely wanderings. He is looking for rest. He will give the player's questions, and when they are all answered, their Sim can get stuff in his basement.

The Urbz: Sims in the City

Earl is a ghost living in the Simquater Graveyard. The player is free to interact with him however they like. In the day he can be seen in the mausoleum, and at night he can be seen wandering around the graveyard. Sometimes he can be found in Club Xizzle. At the end of the game the player goes back in time using his/her time machine and meets Ephram when he was alive, and he keeps the flag and changes the future and so the game ends. That is the only time the player gets to see Ephram as a living person apart from in the credits.
