Not much is known about Adrian Gardener, before he turned up at Sunset Valley, and instantly shunned the light.

Adrian is the husband of Cassandra Goth, father of Aria Goth, uncle of Edgar Goth.

Appearance

To fit in with his wife's family, he restyled his hair to look more gothic, because he couldn't bring himself to dress that way. His clothes are casual, no matter what he wears.

History

Early Life

All that is known about him, is there is no record of his parents in the last few generations in city hall. As if they were around long before the record was kept, or they mysteriously dissappeared. Adrian's past differs from each retelling, as if he has something to hide. All they know, is that before he leaves the house in the morning, he applies some kind of elixier, and only on school or work days.

Young Adult

Adrian came to Sunset Valley, and got a job in the Law Enforcement carrer. He proved to be the best cop the force had ever had. Faster than criminals, and stronger. Always able to detect a lie in every interegation. Over time he grew to love Sunset Valley, and never wanted to leave. He stumbled upon a case, where criminals were posing as repo men, to take people's homes and possessions from them, and selling them for a profit. Under his determination, and tricking answers out of a few people with hypnosis, he uncovered the whole scheme, and returned to the homes to the unfortunate sims, except for the Bachelor family who were happy with their new home.

Yet again, Adrian was sent to the hospital after another "work accident." Sims really were panicky over falling off a five storey building. The most beautiful sim in all the world came through the ward, to clean bed pans. He engaged her in conversation, using his vampire powers to hypnotise her, and make her think about him, he got her to agree to go out on a date with him.

He took her out on a few nighttime dates, before they got serious about each other. Cassandra asked him to move in, and he accepted. He soon won over her family, with his charm and vampire abilities.

One night, Adrian and Cassandra took a walk down the beach. Adrian being a proper sim, suggested they do so in their formal wear. Quite spontaneously, they decided to get married. For her safety and for their future children, he asked her not to take his lastname. Cassandra obliged his request.

Parenthood

Right after their secret wedding, Cassandra became pregnant. He worried that the child would be cursed with vampirism. He took care of his wife, giving her everything she could ever want. When Cassandra went into labour, he rushed her to the hospital. Aria was born, to his relief, an ordinary sim.

He really spent much time with his daughter, because of the difficulty in keeping out of the sun's glare and working during they day light hours.

Adrian was busy with work most of the time. He discovered that one of the masterminds behind the repo scam was living right here in Sunset Valley, Megan Moocher, and that she was marrying his own brother-in-law Alexander Goth. Adrian rushed home, but he was too late. He declared Megan's identity, allowing the Goths to be forever freed from her grasp.

While he was playing with Aria, Cassandra threw a vial of elixir on him. At first he was angry, until he realised that his vampirism was melting away. A few hours later, Cassandra returned to him human once more.

Adult

Adrian was thrilled to age into an adult. Something that he once thought would not happen for a long time. Living a life as a normal sim suited him perfectly. He spent time with his daughter, taking her to the theatre, and touring many places around the valley.

He attended Alexander's wedding, just like the rest of the family. Adrian's touring of the valley in the daylight would not end, until he had seen everything there is to see. Collecting information on sims, actually talking to people.

He took it badly, when Bella passed. He blamed himself, for not turning her into a vampire, when he had the chance. Then her loss would not leave such a big hole in everyone's heart.

• This sim is the same Adrian Gardener that appeared in my An Old Goth's Tale TS2 fanon. Except in that story he wasn't a vampire, but he was mysterious and hinted upon to be a secret agent.
