Alanna Starr Stanley is an actress. She was born in Bridgeport as the daughter of director Alan Stanley and actress Emmy Starr. She has an older brother, Emmitt Starr Stanley, who is a screenwriter.

Early years Alanna, along with her older brother, Emmitt, were reared in the glow of the Bridgeport film industry, living lives of exceptional privilege. However, as soon as they became children, they were sent for training at Le Fromage Art School. After graduating from Le Fromage, Alanna landed her first major acting role. She plays the lead role of Lauren in the prime time soap 'As the Sims Turn.'
