Allen was born to Jonah and Astrid Hale.
He was born a werewolf like his father. His werewolf relatives include his Aunt Cecilia and her two children, Taylor and Adam. More distant werewolf relatives include his second cousin, Matthew Hale, his great-great-aunt Jane and his great-great-grandfather.
Allen moved out of the Hale Manor when he was a young adult, shortly before his sister Joanne did. He met Zoe Durwood and they married. Soon after, she became pregnant and had twins, much like his aunt and other relatives have had. Zoe gave birth to Ian Hale, and Adele Hale. Ian was born a werewolf like his father, and Adele was born a witch like her mother. Joanne gave birth to Callisto Hale shortly after, who is a witch. Not long after, Joanne died in a fire, much like many of her relatives have. Due to Callisto's father being unable to take care of the child due to his age, Allen stepped in and adopted her. Allen loved Joanne dearly and as such, absolutely adores Callisto and takes very good care of her. Zoe has become a very motherly figure for her and as she ages she will get closer to Ian and Adele, her first cousins.
