After her brother's death, she was briefly married to Param Singh and was known for a short while was Jane Singh however, upon divorce, she went back to Hale. During their marriage, they had one son, Derek Singh.

After her divorce, she had a brief relationship with Jack Skipper and had a son, Michael Hale. After Jack made it clear to her he wanted nothing to do with the baby, she disowned him and gave the baby her maiden name.

After Michael became a teenager, Jane married Jules MacDuff and they had twins. A girl, Caroline MacDuff Hale, and a boy, Nicholas Hale MacDuff.
