James was born to Michael and Anne Hale. He lived in the Hale Manor until he was a young adult. After he moved out, he met Victoria Stanton and they married. As James' father was a werewolf, both parents were wary of the possibility of their children being werewolves, but this was not the case.
James was a very famous assassin, as was his wife Victoria. They also dealt drugs and participated in other illegal activities. They were strong, fast, and agile, and as such, were very good at what they did. Due to this, they became very rich. On one of their missions, they rewired a computer incorrectly and were both electrocuted. Their children were placed in the care of James' sister Jane Hale.
