Astrid Hale (née Fitzgerald) is a sim who lives in Moonlight Falls. She was originally born in Veronaville and is related to the Capp Family, though distantly. She has two children, Joanne who is a witch like herself, and Allen who is a werewolf like her husband, Jonah Hale.
Astrid was born to Frederick and Felicia Fitzgerald in Veronaville. Felicia's great-grandmother was Cleopatra Capp. Thus, Astrid is a third cousin to Miranda, Hal, Desdemona, Ariel, Tybalt, Hermia, and Juliette Capp. Due to her delayed aging, Isadora Capp, Cleopatra's mother, was still alive when Astrid was born. Astrid met her great-great-great-grandmother and became close with her. When she was a child, Isadora died, and left Astrid 500,000 simoleons, which she received when she became a young adult. After she became a young adult, she moved to Moonlight Falls to explore her witch heritage.
