Biography

Birth & education

Amrit Kaur was born in 1982 to Anita and Krishna Kaur. The Kaur's were a very wealthy family, despite this, they could not give Amrit a very good education, and sent her to live with her Aunt Jemima in Variety. Aunt Jemima was not as rich, so could only send her to a basic state school.

Love of teaching

Amrit loved the idea of teaching when she began school, as a young girl she was the teacher's pet to every single tutor of hers.Amrit left her school and began training to be a teacher.

Friendship with Annie St. Claire

At her teaching training course, she met Ms Annie St. Claire, a new headmistress of a secondary school. Annie took a shine to Amrit, and the two became very good friends. Amrit was then hired by Annie to be a teaching aide at her school, and the two moved in together.
