He went to the same school as Jack Hack, a shy man who was equally skilled in computers as Curt and later became a techer in their former school. Curt joined the military. Being lazy, he was judged unfit for the position of a soldier, but because of his computer skills he became a hacker and cryptologist for the military. Thanks to his skills, the military made a great progress. One day, Curt reunited with Jack, who had started an alliance with the criminal hacker Mast3rm1nd Z3r0 after he heard of Jack's hacking skills. Jack convinced Curt to join them, being also a great hacker. Together, the three men formed the hacker group Cerberus, which was very successful as the three men all hacked at the same time. Unlike Jack, who is constantly struggling between his love for his job and his hacking career, or Mast3rm1nd, whose position in the criminal syndicate was not really different from his activities as a hacker, Curt is always afraid of his superiors discovering his secret work for Cerberus.
