The sim only known by his internet pseudonym, Mast3rm1nd Z3r0, has always been fascinated by computers and puzzles. As an adult, he decided to use that knowledge for his own benefit, which was nothing else but to hack computers for profit. However, no matter how much he loved it, he soon came to realize that this activity didn't give him enough money. Despite he's not of the athletic type, Mast3rm1nd decided to join the criminal syndicate for more profit and power. He started to practice both his logical as well as his physical abilities in order to get better in his job, while at the same time, he kept hacking computers at any chance, just for fun. This way, he quickly managed to rise in his career.
Changing appearance and rivalry with Alto[edit | edit source]
Eventually, after being arrested by the police, Mast3rm1nd decided to give himself a new appearance in order to escape further attempts from the police, by changing his beard from a mustache to a chin beard as well as dying his black hair red. He also realized that despite his intellect and career level, he had a strong competition in form of corrupt politician Nick Alto, as Nick had political influence and as interested in power as him. This led him and Alto to a confrontation, as none of them was ready to give up his power just for the other one to take it. Planning his next steps, Mast3rm1nd attempted a friendship with Alto, which failed due to their different personalities. Afterwards, he used Nick's computer for hacking to frame Nick. To his anger, Nick could prove his innocence. Furious at this, Mast3rm1nd attempted to use Nick's computer a second time to expose Nick's criminal activities to the police. However, this plan also failed as Nick got a new computer by then.
At some point, Mast3rm1nd got aware of the hacking skills of the shy teacher Jack Hack, who hacked the computers of other Sims to gain much profit through effectice activites while still being unseen. Mast3rm1nd offered him an alliance, telling him of the financial benefit he would gain. Jack agreed and later convinced his old friend Curt Van Clicker to join them. They all moved into one house, furnished the cellar with three computers for hacking and called their new organization Cerberus. Cerberus quickly developed a modus operandi which was true to the name, by having all three hackers hack at the same time to triple their profit. Mast3rm1nd is notably the only member of Cerberus not to struggle with his fear of being discovered by his boss (like Curt does) or having moral issues about whether to choose his hacking career of his actual job (like Jack) as his position as a crime lord benefits greatly from their actions.
When Curt and Jack finally left, Mast3rm1nd was forced to revive the group, recruiting Virus Masterson, an investigator who uses his hacking skills to blackmail suspects, and Kasimir Räuber, the brain of the formerly powerful Räuber family.
Mast3rm1nd returned in The Sims 4 after being forced to flee Sunset Valley under unknown circumstances. Having heard of the Oracle branch, he decided to once again use his hacking skills for evil. However, he quickly found a rival in Noah Grey. In The Sims 4, Mast3rm1nd's suit is red with a black shirt, while previously, it had been the other way around. He had also grown an additional mustache to his chin beard.
