Life[edit | edit source]

Note: This section only explains the parts of the character's life that had a large impact on the story line.

Young Adult[edit | edit source]

Mary-Sue and Daniel first met in their junior year of college; She was the busy vice-president of the student-council, and Daniel let her relax and be free from the stresses and pressure of meetings. As thanks, at that year's Spring Formal, they finally went steady (something that Daniel had evidently wanted to do for a long time.) During their senior year in college, they were one of the most well-known couples on campus, and quickly became lovebirds. Soon after they got out of college, they decided to move in together and get married; Despite the hidden fact that Daniel's flirtatious tendencies were still strong.

Adult[edit | edit source]

When both of them had grown into adults, they quickly tried for children, and, although they were only expecting one child, Mary-Sue gave birth to twin girls. When the twins were on the verge of growing from toddlers to children, it was discovered that Angela had narcolepsy; The couple's fear and panic has caused both of them to shelter and overprotect Angela, while they just let Lilith fade into the background. Mary-Sue became a workaholic in order to grow a safety net just in case Angela grew ill, though her workaholic tendencies caused Daniel to begin an affair with Madeline Sycamore, which didn't last long before Mary-Sue learned about it. Despite Mary-Sue's knowledge of his affair, Daniel still continued to see Madeline.

Relationships[edit | edit source]

Madeline SycamoreThe woman Daniel has an affair with. Despite the circumstances of their relationship, their love for each other seems to be at least partially true.

Mary-Sue Pleasant: Daniel's wife. In the years leading up to the story's events, their relationship had been going south, but, after Mary-Sue found him in an affair, the relationship became unsalvageable. The only reason Daniel wants to keep the marriage together is to keep his daughter, Angela, taken care of.

Angela PleasantHis younger daughter, he is the one responsible for taking care of her: As this has been the case since Angela was first diagnosed with narcolepsy, the two have developed a very strong father-daughter bond.

Lilith PleasantHis older daughter. He doesn't show his affection towards her often, though this is just because Lilith isn't a very affectionate person, and has never really liked social interaction, even within her family.
