The Dee family is a fanon family created by Bakerychaz. Peter, Jr. adopted eight children. Peter drowned shortly after adopting his last child, leaving the children to Peter's sister Carol Dee. Peter Dee, Sr. is the son of Peter Dee I and Mimi Dee, and he was born in Starlight Shores. Peter Dee, Sr. moved to Neighborhood 1 as an Adult, and met Felicity there. They had Carol and Peter there, and they moved to Pleasantview as Adults.
Dee - a pun on "adoptee", which was shortened to "tee", which was then shortened to "dee".
Peter - a Latin name meaning "rock, stone."
Carol - "strong, melody."
Mike - short for Michael, a Hebrew name meaning "who is like God."
Frank - a French name meaning "free."
Maryann - a combination of the names Mary, which means "bitter" and Ann, which means "gracious".
Nicholas - a Greek name meaning "victorious people."
