Elizabeth Manhattan (nickname: Eliza) is a child Sim featured in A Sim's Tale. She is the only daughter of Peter and Jessica Manhattan. Eliza returns in A Sim's Tale: The Equestrian as the story's main protagonist.

Biography

Eliza and her mother, Jessica, came to Twinbrook to made a visit to Thomas and Magdalena. They met Arthur and Marcy Williams, who also on their way to the Redfield house. During the dinner, Eliza wondered where Leona and Jean were, causing Jessica also asking John's whereabouts. Thomas then revealed that they were right and John left to Sunset Valley with his family. However, at the end, John and his family unexpectedly came and made a visit. Eliza was so happy to see her cousins once more.

Eliza and her mother Jessica were watching the race that Peter participated in. However, during the last lap of the race, Peter got an accident and must hospitalized. Her father survived, but his career as an Equestrian was ended. Following this, both Peter and Jessica forbid Eliza to ride horse again, worrying that she would end up like Peter in the future.

Months later, Eliza continued her routines as usual. She was seen hanging out with her Best Friend, Maisy when her mother called her. In her way home, Eliza met Holly Alto, who ask her the direction to the Equestrian Center.

In a next day, Eliza invited by Maisy to watch an Amateur Horse Race competition in the same Equestrian Center. The two were about to enter the building when they met Chuck Hobble. They learned that the Jockey who Chuck assigned for the race was unable to come due to being sick. Being the only one who had riding skills, Eliza volunteered to help by participating in the race as the substitute Jockey.

Eliza's skill during the race impressed everyone, however, she was unable to won the first place and became a runner-up instead. After a problem with some Paparazzi, Eliza and Maisy managed to return home thanks to Chuck's help. Arriving in her home, Eliza found that Holly Alto (the woman she met before) would stay with her family until her car fully repaired.

Unfortunately for Eliza, in the next day, her father discovered her participation in the race after reading the newspaper and she getting scolded. Later in the school, she approached by Maggie Gray, a representative from JRA Equestrian Center, who offer her to participate in the next race. Eliza then decided to ask her father's permission . Unfortunately, Peter still forbid her, leading an argument between the two.
