Peter Manhattan is a sim featured in A Sim's Tale: The Equestrian as a major character. He was once a renowned Equestrian athlete until a terrible accident forced him to retired. He is husband of Jessica Manhattan and father of Eliza Manhattan.
By December 25, Peter was participated in a horse-race tournament. In the final lap, he was about to catch up his opponent, but the opponent cheated by hitting his own horse to Peter's. Peter fall to the ground and getting hit by another horse.
Peter saved, but must be hospitalized and face the fact that he couldn't race anymore due to his injury. The accident made Peter forbid his daughter, Eliza to riding a horse again since he afraid that Eliza would end up like him.
Six months later, the Manhattan family allowed Holly Alto to stay with them until her broken car repaired. Peter revealed to Holly that his wife, Jessica is a fan. In the next day, Peter found that Eliza secretly entered a Beginner Race Competition. Angered, he scolded Eliza for it. He later met the person who signed Eliza in the race, Chuck Hobble, personally to told him not to asking Eliza for participate in the race again.
