Lucian Capp (ne Light) is a relatively recent resident of my version of Veronaville. He lives with his wife Regan, daughter Tamora, and brother-in-law Kent. He currently works as a Resident at the Veronaville Medical Center, where he hopes to eventually go into infectious disease research.

Unlike Regan's first husband, Cornwall, Lucian has a good relationship with everyone in the house, and is even Best Friends with Kent, as the two bonded over a shared love of knowledge. Despite meeting Regan very shortly after her divorce from Cornwall, Lucian has never met Cornwall.

While Lucian knows Goneril and Consort and generally gets along with them, he doesn't know many of the other Capps, and is completely clueless when it comes to the Montys. He's vaguely aware that Regan's family is involved in a feud or two, but tries not to let that affect his life or his daughter's.

Trivia

• I gave up on the Shakespeare naming when I made Lucian's ancestors.
• His mother's name is a pun on "celestial light."
• Lucian is kind of named after the second century satirist Lucian of Samosata, although the two share very few characteristics. I just felt the need to pay a tribute to one of my favorite classical authors.
