Meadowview is a downloadable neighborhood for The Sims 2. The neighborhood is supposed to be a small town deeply hidden in the country.
The neighborhood has 17 residential lots and 3 community lots. On the upper half of the neighborhood, there are 6 houses that are most likely mobile homes. Aside of that, are three houses that are decent starter homes made out of grey shingles and green windows and doors. On the lower half of the neighborhood are middle class and higher class homes. There are around 3-4 middle class homes that would be reasonable for a family of four. The nicer homes are around where the Brauer family live. There are 2 mansions, 160 Hevington Lane and 250 Hevington Lane. Often going unnoticed, there is a tiny little house in the woods on a very hidden side street what players may call an "abandoned home," which has a tiny little outhouse. Among all the houses there are already 4 families living in Meadowview along with 2 more in the Family bin. All the families have a different amount of simoleons at the beginning of the game, making it difficult for some to pay bills, while not so difficult for others.
The town Meadowview may have meant to be like Pleasantview since it has so many relations with the characters. Such as the family with not so much money (The Kathery Family), the woman of the town (Mariah Jones and Ashlee Tucker), and the "perfect" family (The Brauer family), and even the name "Meadowview" sounds similar to "Pleasantview," since it has "view" at the end. Over all, this has lead to some players thinking Meadowview was supposed to be like Pleasantview.

Families
On residential lots
- Brauer Family: Alfred and his wife Lydia have two lovely daughters named Kristine and Monica. Kristine is in a current relationship with Kiran Kathery, whom both wish to have their first kiss with each other.
- Gilmore Family: Edmund and Janice who don't think about raising thier kids too much. They have two children, Cecilia and Peter. Cecilia used to be Best Freinds with Kristine Brauer, who probably ended the friendship because Cecilia has a major crush on Kiran Kathery. Back to Edmund, who is having an affair with the neighborhood hottie Ashlee Tucker.
- Jones/Tucker Household: Mariah and her toddler son, Blaine, suffer after the death of Mariah's husband, Scotty Jones. Mariah is also pregnant with another child at the start of the game, resulting in more difficulty. Ashlee Tucker, on the other hand is starting up relationships, along with trouble!
- Kathery Family: Sammi struggles after her ex-husband Robert Kathery leaves her to take care of two kids Kiran and Julia. Kiran is also stirring up trouble with the kind of guy he is....
In the Family Bin
- Kathery Family: Robert, who left his wife and kids to start a new life.
- Moretti Family: Phillip and Wilona with new born Dan. Wilona is the younger sister of ever so famous Scotty Jones.
