The Moore family is a family in The Sims series, consisting of Kate Moore as a single sim in The Sims, The Sims Bustin' Out and The Sims 2, although Kate is pregnant in The Sims 2.


Onomatology

Moore: English surname given to persons dwelling near a moor or heath.
Kate Moore: Short for Katherine, meaning "pure".
Nancy-Jayne Moore: Meaning "favoured" and "gracious".
Owen Moore: Anglicised version of Owain, referring to someone "noble born".
