Rosamund was born in 1959 to Sinclair Ramsbottom and Annabella Ramsbottom. Rosamund was bullied at school for being very smart, and being in all of the top sets for science, English and maths. Rosamund went to university and studied communications.
At University, Rosamund met Carmichael Sharpei, who was also studying communications. Rosamund was in love with Carmichael, and thought Carmichael loved her. However, what Rosamund didn't know is that the Sharpei's and the Ramsbottom's had had a century long war going on which the young did not know about this, however Carmichael did. In Rosamund's third year, she was preparing for her final essay to write, and got to work. After hours of grovelling work, Rosamund completed it, and was very proud of her work. She gave it to Carmichael to read over. As Carmichael did this, he took the essay, and destroyed it. Carmichael had been doing this a lot to Rosamund's work, and Rosamund was kicked off the course and out of university.
With no job available with no degree, Rosamund moved back into her parents home until they died. She cared for her mother when she got sick and her father when Annabella died.
