Number of generations As of ITF: 62 (3 current) generations
Family connections Several families across SimNation

The Stevens family are the main focus of Gourd Roger's fan fictions. They existed in practically every game of The Sims franchise, having a brief appearance in the first and second games and had a detailed appearance in The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. The family has existed since the Middle Ages through Emperor Kabbi Steffanson and his wife Empress Jytte. The family is of mixed British and Danish descent, although several nationalities and ancestries mixed up with the present generations of the clan.

History

Commander Steffan was considered to be the first member of the Stevens family. He was born in Burdley. He married Magus Astrid and had 10 children. Eventually Steffan will age and Kabbi, the firstborn, succeeded him as the leader of the House of Steffan. Kabbi became a monarch when he married Lady Jytte.

In the late 1700s, Douglas Stevens moved to SimNation from Britain and his descendants would bear the Stevens family name. The African branch started in the 1830s when Jethro Stevens was born to Abel and Olga Stevens, the latter being an African-American. An Asian branch started in the 1850s when Toru Isshiki married Clara Stevens and their family decided to keep their mother's maiden name.
