The Taylor Family was started by Luke Taylor, one of the Original 8. It consists his oldest son Lance Taylor who was sired by Mike Gardener, his youngest son Timothy Taylor who was sired by Dan Plummer, Lance's son Joe Taylor who was sired by Nick Fisher, and Timothy's sons Jesse and Nicholas Taylor who were sired by Zack Baker.

Tyler Harper gave birth to Luke's middle son Jim Harper, so Jim lives in the Harper home and information about Jim is found on the Harper Family page. Alex Carpenter gave birth to Lance's oldest son George Carpenter, so George lives in the Carpenter home and information about George is found on the Carpenter Family page. Lance's middle son Ed Fisher was sired by Jason Potter and was engaged to Nick Fisher, so Ed lives in the Fisher home and information can be found on the Fisher Family page. David Harper gave birth to Timothy's oldest sons Chad and Lee Harper and Martin Potter gave birth to Timothy's middle son Adam Potter, so Chad and Lee live in the Harper home and information about Chad and Lee are found on the Harper Family page, and Adam lives in the Potter home and information about Adam is found on the Potter Family page.

History

After Luke found himself in The Genesis Project, he quickly developed his sewing skills while he was pregnant with Lance. He had a hard time with his home business of selling pot holders to his neighbors because it took him so long to sew while pregnant. He slowly continued to develop his sewing skills, and care for his little son Lance after he was born. While Lance was a toddler, Tyler gave birth to his youngest son, Timothy. Jim was born to Tyler the day before Timothy, which was fine with Luke since he wouldn't have to care for three boys. By this time, he had improved his sewing skills and was able to manage the home business somewhat, so it was a little easier to care for two little ones. Once Lance became a child, Luke could focus on mastering his sewing skills and growing his home business some more. By the time Lance was a teen and Timothy was a child, Luke was able to focus solely on the orders from everyone in the neighborhood while Lance tended to the business and Timothy played like the free child that he was. When Lance became a "young adult" and Timothy a teen, Luke decided to buy one of the lots that Tyler had to start his fashion business. When Luke became an elder, the business was progressing albeit not as much as Luke had hoped.

Shortly after becoming an adult, Lance gave birth to Ed. Since Lance had learned the skill of sewing, he decided it was time to continue having kids. Timothy did as well and they both had sons, Joe, Jesse, and Nicholas, on the same day. The following day was met with Luke's passing and all family matters were passed onto Lance. After Ed became a young adult, he became the first Sim to be engaged. He joined the Fisher family as part of his engagement to Nick Fisher.
