Tinashe Evelyn Erica Minx is thebaby daughter of Jennifer Minx and J Huntington III, the half-sister of Hanson Cinder, niece of Erica Minx and Eve Minx, and granddaughter of Sarah Minx.
When Jennifer, Sarah, and Hanson moved to Willow Creek, Jennifer's ex-husband Garry Cinder also moved to Oasis Springs, next to Willow Creek. Jennifer began dating J, but at the same time, WooHooed with Garry again, making it unclear whether the unborn baby's father was Garry or J. After Jennifer gave birth to Tinashe, J was shown to be the father. Jennifer wanted to keep the pregnancy secret, but once she started showing she revealed her pregnancy to Garry on a family holiday, J was told soon after. Tinashe has a good relationship with her mother, half-brother, and grandmother, but her relationship with her father is unknown as he lives in Oasis Springs, and doesn't often visit Tinashe.
Tinashe was named after the pop singer of the same name, but was originally supposed to have a name that combined her aunt's names. She eventually had aunts names as her middle names.
