A festival is added in The Sims 3: Seasons. A few days into each season, you will get a notice that a festival has rolled into your town. There will be a special maptag for the festival site, which is one of the big parks in your town. The activities, interacting objects and decorations will vary depending on the season. Doing various activities will earn tickets, which you can trade in at a concessions stand for prizes.

Spring Festival

In the spring, the festival will be mostly green, pink, yellow, and other Springish colors. It will strongly resemble a combination of Easter and Valentine's Day.

Activities:

  • Hunting for eggs
  • Dancing {whoever dances most will become Spring King/Queen!}
  • Horseshoes
  • Using the love tester
  • Rollerskating
  • Getting kissed at a kissing booth

Interactible Objects:

  • Kissing Booth for Guys
  • Kissing Booth for Girls
  • Rollerskating Rink
  • Concessions Stands for food and prizes
  • Bathroom Structures

Summer Festival

The summer festival is red, white and blue. It has fireworks set up, ready to light. During the summer festival, there will be a sale on fireworks at the grocery store.

Activities

  • Getting a tan in a tanning machine
  • Rollerskating
  • Setting off fireworks
  • Boobytrapping tanning machine {with Generations expansion pack}
