The Sims 3: Seasons

Merge
This article or section is being considered for merging with Festival grounds. See the discussion page for details.

A festival is added in The Sims 3: Seasons. A few days into each season, the player will get a notice that a festival has rolled into town. There will be a special maptag for the festival site, which is one of the big parks in the town. The activities, interactive objects and decorations will vary depending on the season.

Doing various activities will earn tickets, which you can trade in at a concessions stand for prizes. The food that can be bought at a stand is themed to the season, like hot chocolate in winter and ice cream in summer. When no festival is going on, the festival grounds will be a regular park area.

Holidays occur on the last Friday {or the last day, if no Friday is nearby} of a season. In spring, Love Day takes place, similar to Easter but especially Valentine's Day. In summer, Leisure Day. In fall, Spooky Day. On Spooky Day and the day before, teens and children can trick-or-treat. In winter, Snowflake Day.
