On the set.

Not to be confused with The Sims (film).

The Film career is a new career in The Sims 3: Late Night. It is split into two branches similar to many other careers in The Sims 3: Actor and Director.[1]

Sims in the film career go to work at the new rabbit hole: Film studio[citation needed], but are also able to do other career-related tasks around the neighborhood, much like the Doctor career in The Sims 3: Ambitions[2]. Some of these tasks include:

  • Promoting movies at bars
  • Promoting movies
  • Picking up food for shoots

Sims in the film careers can win awards, similar to the ones in The Sims: Superstar[3]. Sims in the career can also write movie scripts[4] The movie studio rabbit hole name is Plumbob Pictures Backlot[1]. The Options are:

  • Business as Usual
  • Work Hard
  • Slack Off
  • Meet Cast Members
  • Hang with Cast Members
  • Compliment The Director

1 Background Extra As a Background Extra, it's important never to be heard or seen, unless the scene calls for clapping or the incoherent cheers of the mob. A healthy dose of anonymity will do you some good, since an introduction to stardom is just a few takes away!
