I recently got the Sims 1 and downloaded it. I created a family and furnished the house and I wanted to go to Live Mode but the Live Mode button was greyed out. You need to move a family in first before Live mode is unlocked. Go into the Family bin, select a family, select "Move in this family", and then click on the desired lot. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 10:15, August 5, 2014 (UTC)

Hello! I've only just found this website and I have no idea if I can post here like this, but hey..  

I recently downloaded the sims 1 and all its expansions. However, every time I try to put a family on a lot or in a house, the game seems to reload all the extra expansions (you see loading bars from makin' magic etc.) and when it's finally loaded and you get to enter the house/lot, the family is gone! The family dissapeared entirely from te game, I can't find them in the family bin either and I can't play with them at all. However, when I click on an already existing household, it will load and I can play with them. Does anyone have an idea to solve this?
